Every year the 6th graders have a design contest for the t-shirt they wear to 6th grade camp. Although "camp" has looked different the past couple years the contest has remained. This year the kids designed a shirt with a theme of this being the last year at the current B.E. building. The winning design is available for sale at www.nuthreadz.com under Berkshire Spiritwear. All profits from the sale of the shirt will go towards the current 6th graders Washington D.C. trip when they're in 8th grade. We wanted to honor all the contestants by posting their creative designs below! The winning design is pictured to the top left and below is a poem that was written for the back of the shirt. We couldn't print the entire poem on the shirt so we just used the first line.
We made it to the end
But there is more around the bend
We may have been the last
But we will be remembered in the past
We are moving into a new school
It would be cool to have a swimming pool
Although our old school was a great place
We are moving into our new home base
Let's go to our new school
and let it rule!
